Overview

The route enters the dramatic glacial cwm, ascending past Twyn Dylluan-ddu to the trig point at Fan Frynych with panoramic views. It continues along the ridge of Craig Cerrig-Gleisiad before joining the Beacons Way toward Storey Arms. After crossing under the A470, the walk follows the old Roman Road toward Blaenglyn, then loops back via a field crossing over the Afon Tarell and a final steep climb to the finish. Varied terrain with great views and a touch of adventure!
