Meet: Currie Library Car Park 9.20 to depart 9.30.
This is a B walk of 8.5 miles and 220m ascent.
From Craiglockhart pond, the walk goes by the side of Craighouse to Morningside. It then goes a short distance along Hermitage of Braid then up Braid Hills to the viewpoint of seven hills. Walk past Liberton Tower, down to Blackford Glen Road, back through Hermitage of Braid to the start point.
Some pavement walking but mostly on paths which will be muddy. Gaiters and poles, if you use them, are recommended.
Park in Lockharton Crescent if possible, however this may be busy . Alternatively park in adjoining streets.
