Overview

This is an 8.5 mile B walk

From Craiglockhart pond, walk by the side of Craighouse to Morningside.
Walk a short distance along Hermitage of Braid then up Braid Hills to the viewpoint of seven hills. Walk past Liberton Tower, down to Blackford Glen Road, back through Hermitage of Braid to start of walk.

Some pavement walking but mostly on paths which shall be muddy. Gaiters and poles, if you use them, recommended.

Parking in Lockharton Crescent but may be busy. Alternative parking in adjoining streets.  Approx finish time 3pm.

We regret that no dogs are allowed on our walks.
