Starting at Aberfoyle we walk up to the Marshall Lodge and cross the Dukes Pass road to start the climb up Craigmore Hill. The first section is very steep which leads to a view point, this looks over to The Marshall Lodge and Aberfoyle. We then climb further to the summit. From the top of Craigmore you can see Loch Ard, Ben Lomond and the Arrochar Alps. We then return down the hill to the Little Fawn waterfall and squirrel hide and will plan to stop here for lunch. Afterwards we will walk the Lime Craig circuit which is on tracks through the woods and also includes a steep climb up to Lime Craig view point. From here we make our way back down to Aberfoyle.
Walking boots essential. Walking poles recommended as there are very steep sections and also loose gravel paths on this walk.
There are toilets at Aberfoyle carpark.
