Overview

James and Pip will be leading us on a mixed walk along paths from Crantock Beach National Trust Carpark beside the Gannel Estuary with two crossings by bridge.

The walk starts on footpaths beside the Gannel river upstream, crossing the lower causeway, and continuing upriver beside old shipping sites.  Low tide is appoximately 11:20.  Then we cross back on the footbridge and head up hill away from the river returning towards Crantock via footpaths and country lanes.  5 stiles.  We will end in Crantock village with optional refreshements available in one of the pubs before returning to the carpark
