Risk Assessment

We cross the A6 at the busy Cromford junction, using the Pelican crossing provided. Take care also as we cross over the Via Gellia and then back again to enter Chapel Hill, good sight lines, but beware of large vehicles. We cross Cromford Hill, take care, especially of vehicles coming downwards. Some cattle seen near Upperwood, but well used to human traffic. Some short steep descents in places, take care, slippery if wet. Most paths have a limestone covering and fallen leaves, so maybe slippery if wet, the leaves may also obscure tree roots in the woodland sections, tripping hazard. Stone steps in places, take care when descending these. Finally we re-cross the A6, amidst queueing traffic, take care. 07918882152 my contact number whilst walking
