Overview

We walk eastwards via New Years Wood to Birches Croft and north-east to The Washneys before heading south to Knockholt Church.We then follow the North Downs Way to Joelands Wood and Silverstead Lane to Grays Farm.We then head north across fields crossing Old Harrow Lane to New Barn Lane and return to Cudham Rec.

The walk is mainly through woods and open farmland and also along some narrow lanes. There are approximately ten stiles and we will encounter some muddy stretches of footpath and fields. Walking poles will be useful if you have them. We will have a short elevenses break and a picnic lunch. There are toilets at the start and and finish.
