Overview

This walk starts from the Historic village of Culross on the northern side of the Forth, and after an initial climb of 50m up to the West Kirk, where we shall have a short break, we walk along with good views over the Forth, to Culross Abbey.   From here we drop down to the Forth, and the rest of the walk is level.  We will circumnavigate Preston Island either clockwise or anti-clockwise depending on the direction of the wind (if any), and then return along the foreshore to the car park.    Local Grade C.
