Overview

We will start the walk at Craig Cefn Parc car park near Cwm Clydach nature reserve and climb through woodland on uneven ground following the Lower River Clydach before coming back via common ground across Mynydd Carnllechart and through small lanes and bridle ways. The walk is muddy and boggy in places and gators / water proof trousers are advisable and water proof boots are a must. There is a tributary to cross which could be slippery. If there is low visibility on Myndd Carnilechart we will come back a longer route along a lane. There are no refreshment or toilet stops along the route but there are facilities in Clydach.
