Clockwise circular walk - leaving Dacre Banks village & crossing River Nidd at Summerbridge then rising towards Hartwith Moor & around South Wood before descending back to the River Nidd nr Throstle Nest.
Crossing by footbridge onto Nidderdale Way along bank of river before turning off at Low Hall Wood up to Dacre & going over to Lanes Foot before turning back to start.
Mainly farmland & open field pathways after ascending out of Summer bridge - may be muddy in places at this time of year
This walk is not suitable for dogs.
Sometimes due to unforeseen events or well publicised bad weather, walks cannot go ahead. If a walk has to be cancelled this will be publicised here against the walk details. If you are planning to attend this walk please check that it is proceeding before setting off to the start point on the morning of the walk.
Meeting place - public car park ( no fee ) next to the Royal Oak pub as well as some considerate on - street parking nearby as well as 200 yds away nr village church which is on first part of walk.
