A scenic walk with lovely views over the Downs. We take in the iron age fort at Danebury before heading down and along the Test Valley. Pretty river views and thatch cottages complete the picture.
Some ups and downs but nothing steep.
Please bring lunch and snacks. There is a little bit of road walking and a small muddy section.
Toilets at walk start and end accessible with a radar key (I will bring one).
Chance of a mobile coffee van near the walk end.
Please park in the second car park near the roundhouse. Its bigger and has a better surface. Toilets are here too. Driving time from Farnborough is 45 to 50 mins. From Andover its signposted for Danebury Hill Fort. Car park is free.
