We are the North Hampshire Downs Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

A linear walk in north Hampshire from Deane to Whitchurch. 4 hours. The route generally follows the river Test and takes in the villages of Ashe, Overton and Freefolk. We'll leave the river between Overton and Freefolk to follow the ancient Harrow Way in the hills to the north.
There will a refreshment break and a picnic lunch stop. Bring your own food/drink.
The leader will be taking the 76 bus from Basingstoke station stop Y at 09.52 to the walk start near the Palm Brasserie at Deane Gate.
The plan is to return from Whitchurch on the same bus route, which runs every 30 mins.
