We are the Tamworth and Lichfield Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This 7.25 mile circular walk crosses open countryside around the attractive village of Ashford in the Water, follows the River Wye through Monsal Dale and on to Deep Dale before returning via the village of Sheldon.
Meet at the Lichfield College car park, off the Friary, at 9.00 am for car sharing. There is a parking charge of £2 for the whole day.
The starting point shown is an approximate location only. Anyone wanting to drive direct to the starting point without meeting at the Lichfield College car park beforehand is advised to contact the walk leaders for details of the exact location and parking arrangements.
