Overview

A walk mainly on well-defined tracks around the Doddington estate and nearby woods, beginning and ending at Doddington Hall main car park (the opposite side of the road from the hall). We will have coffee and lunch stops along the way, and people might want to visit one of the Doddington Hall cafes at the end of the walk. The Christmas bauble barn will also be open if you need some late minute additions to your Christmas decorations!

The walk is suitable for dogs on leads. There might be cattle in some of the fields but they are calm and used to walkers.

If weather dictates, the walk could be reduced in distance.

Please register for this walk on Newark Ramblers website, where you will also find details of our car share scheme.
