Parking: Dorchester on Sunday can be difficult, so aim to park well up the High Street, where the Oxford road comes in. It is most unlikely that you will get a place at Bridge End car park at these times. Leave 5-10 minutes to walk down the High Street to the meeting place. Should anyone need pre walk sustenance, there is the Snug Cafe at Bishops Court Farm off the High Street, with parking, open from 9am.
Please bring a packed lunch and plenty to drink.
Dorchester Abbey Tea Room is open from 2:30 to 5:00, for anyone looking for home made cakes.
Please note: we encourage car sharing to our walks but for personal safety do not arrange this for you.
