Overview

We’ll head out along a quiet road to the great Maiden Castle, and then up to the South Dorset Ridgeway with views in all directions if the rain allows! . We’ll head east, past the Came Down golf course and down through a small copse on the Jubilee Trail. After lunch which will be under cover of a hay barn, we’ll continue on the Jubilee Trail before picking up a local trail leading back to the start.
Despite the rain we have had, most of the paths aren’t muddier than usual at this time of year. There is also some walking on lanes. It is a shortish walk due to the wet weather forecast.

There is no need to book. We leave promptly at 10 am.
