We are Reigate Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

The walk starts with a one way train trip from Reigate to Dorking Deepdene leaving at 11.11am. Please meet at the south side of the station at 11.05 am armed with a single ticket from Reigate to Dorking Deepdene (allow time for the ticket machine!). It is also possible to go directly to Dorking Deepdene Station and meet the train arriving at 11.20am.
The walk proper leaves the station and runs through Pixham via the Watermill and along the Mole valley and the Old Reigate Road, before climbing to the Pilgrims Way above Brockham. It then follows the lower slopes of the Downs passing by the old lime kiln at Betchworth, across Pebblehill Road and on to the outskirts of Reigate before ending at Reigate Station.
This is an undulating walk with two more noticeable ascents and one descent. There are some steps along the way and we will encounter some muddy stretches.
Please bring a packed lunch.
Longer and/or steeper: 2 ascents, 1 descent / no stiles but some steps along the way / 2 - 2.5 mph (our usual pace) / well-behaved dogs on short leads welcome (subject to following instructions of the leader in the course of the walk) - NB livestock possible / picnic lunch.
Meet at Reigate Station (south side - by The Range), Rushworth Road, Reigate RH2 0BD by 11.05am to catch 11.11am train.
