Overview

Along the railway cycle walkway through the tunnel to join Drakes Trail short of the Gem Bridge. Follow this downstream on the Walkham River to Double Waters. Upstream on the Tavy before a steep climb up to the top of West Down. Take the lane past Walreddon, then a field path to the A386, then through the estate and back up the lane to the lay-by. The lay-by is on the east side of the A386, just short of Anderton Lane, which leads down to Whitchurch.
