Starting from The Dovedale Stepping Stones Car Park, we circumnavigate Thorpe Cloud and arrive at the Dovedale Stepping Stones where we enter the picturesque Dove Dale valley, passing along our way, Dovedale Castle, Lovers Leap, Tissington Spires, Jacobs Ladder, Reynards Cave and Dove Holes to name but a few. There are two resident Grey Herons and Kingfishers if we are lucky. At Milldale Bridge, we leave Dove Dale and make our way back, ascending up to New Hanson Grange and then a gradual descent from Boston Grange Farm to Thorpe Village and back along the river Dove to the Car Park.
Parking is at Dovedale Stepping Stones NT Car Park, which has toilets, Parking charge £8.00 (Free if you're a NT Member, coin, tap card or phone if you have a signal, some don't)
