Overview

Join James for a moderate seven mile circular walk using some of the Camel trail towards Hellandbridge before returning inland via footpaths and country roads. Starting at the Camel trail at Dunmere and branching off to the quieter section towards Hellandbridge before turning inland through Outlands Wood to Penhargard farm with views across the Camel valley. Refreshments available at The Borough Arms, Dunmere afterwards.

Boots, food and drink. Sticks would be helpful in places. The paths are mostly good with occasional muddy patches. Dogs allowed on short leads please. There are two stiles. Some footpaths are a bit steep and a few damp patches which could be worse after rain. There is about two miles of tarmac on country lanes in the second half.
