Combined fell & river walk through fields & park land circulating around Mossthwaite , Giddy Bridge , Higher Birkett , Marl Hill & Crimpton before arriving at the river Hodder at Whitewell before embarking on the final leg of the walk by mainly following the river back to the starting point.
This walk is not suitable for dogs.
Sometimes due to unforeseen events or well publicised bad weather, walks cannot go ahead. If a walk has to be cancelled this will be publicised here against the walk details. If you are planning to attend this walk please check that it is proceeding before setting off to the start point on the morning of the walk.
Meeting place - the actual Dunsop Bridge itself. There is some limited free on - street car parking spaces near the tea room There is also a public pay & display car park ( with toilets ) 150 metres before the tea room.
