Summer has arrived, and I’m trying to get back into a healthy routine of a walk before work, offering this as a weekly walk!
This is a lovely wee 5km circuit by the River Dee, which is mostly on path and some pavement. It takes between 45mins to an hour max, and passes the ancient Brig O’ Dee, dating from 1527 (once the City of Aberdeen's southern boundary), Duthie Park, and the Wellington suspension footbridge. If we’re lucky we might spot herons, fox and the odd deer!

This walk is doable in decent sports trainers, and although we’re not out in the wilds, it is still Aberdeen, so a cosy top and lightweight waterproof is always recommended, as well as water and a snack :)
NB: We will depart promptly at 7.10, to make sure we’re back in time to enable onward travel for uni/college/work/school runs etc.
