Starting in the famous Sussex village,East Hoathly,( it isn’t east of anywhere ) certainly not of West Hoathly.
There are no hills on this loop, just green pastures, pinewood’s and last phase of the walk is made a sheer breeze thanks to a 2km straight country highway. 8 stiles but none are difficult.
Meet outside the Kings Head pub. Plenty of roadside parking in the village.
Village known for some large than life personages ie the Pelhams, the Sussex Cannibal and diarist Thomas Turner (1729-1789)
Bring a snack and drink for picnic lunch.
