Walk Description:
The walk is from East Linton heading to ascend Traprain law and return past Hailes castle and along the banks of the River Tyne. There are lovely views across the countryside and lots of snowdrops along the Tyne.
The walk involves some road section, muddy paths and uneven terrain. Boots, Poles and Gaiters are recommended.

Leaving from Currie Edinburgh take the A720 east bound through Sheriffhall to old Craighall Junction. Take A1 East towards Berwick on Tweed. At Abbotsview Junction / Haddington roundabout take second exit to East Linton (A199) Street parking is free in East Linton and available near Railway Bridge and Linton hotel.
