The route from Edale Station will take us around Ringing Roger and then via Crowden Tower and Edale Cross descending to Hayfield where the walk ends. The return to New Mills is by catching the 358 bus which runs hourly.

There is also the option to walk an additional 2.5miles from Hayfield to New Mills via the Sett Valley trail.
