Overview

A shorter walk by the River Tees with an extra, optional loop around Thorsgill Wood. Following the River Tees to Egglestone Abbey and returning on the North bank via Abbey Bridge. Mainly fairly easy walking through pastures. The main route is 6 miles with an optional shorter walk of 4 miles. There will be time to explore the Abbey
