Overview

This is in association with EL WalkFest25.  This is day five of a five day Cross County Challenge.  We will ascend from under the powerlines near Johnscleugh in the Lammermuir Hills to the trig point at the summit of Spartleton Hill and then descend to the east side of Whiteadder Reservoir before traversing the slopes of Priestlaw Hill and crossing briefly into the Scottish Borders Region.  There will be a short section of road walking before joining a track over Faseny Water to Penshiel Farm and the west edge of Whiteadder Water. OS66/67.  To book your place and for information on transport arrangements, please go to the EL WalkFest 25 website at https://walkfest.org.uk/walks/ .
