Ely Cathedral and River Great Ouse (Circular Walk)

Circular walk from Ely Railway Station along the Great Ouse to Little Thetford and return. It passes distinctive drained fens before re-entering the city, looping round the cathedral and returning to the riverside en-route to the railway station. There will be fine views of the cathedral at a number of points on the walk. 

Travel to Ely can either be by train from Cambridge Central station, leaving at 09.35am or Cambridge North at 09.39 which will arrive at Ely at 09.53. There is parking at Ely Station, run by National Car Parks, for which a charge is made.

Bring rations.
