A sunday stroll around the lush woodland and rolling hills of the Montreal Estate situated in the Kent Downs AONB, where we will hopefully be treated to glorious autumnal sunshine seaping through the gaps that will have started to appear within the trees. Bring a packed lunch - lunch itself is at the National Trust site of Emmetts Garden where there is a cafe and toilets. Only those with a National Trust membership will be able to explore the gardens, everyone else will have to stay on the public bridleway where we stop for lunch. A reasonably undulating walk with almost 600 metres total ascent, but will be very much at a moderate pace. Pub at the end of walk.
