Overview

From the start point up around the Strawberry Duck PH, along the lane to drop through the pine forest to the reservoir. Then through the woods up on to a moorland path for our return. Good paths and lovely scenery.

Meet at - Batridge Road car park at the road end of Entwistle & Turton reservoir near the dam. If heading out of Darwen centre towards Bolton on the A666, when you start dropping down from the moors take a left on the B6391 Greens Arms Road, then after a couple of miles turn left onto Batridge Road. The postcode can put you the wrong side of a private road!!
