From the historically important Langley Mill Basin, the junction of the Cromford, Nottingham and Erewash Canals, we will follow the Erewash Valley Trail to exlore the latter two canals and the River Erewash as far as the magnificent Bennerley Viaduct

Meet: Linkmel Road near the Great Northern or Langley Mill Basin, off Derby Road, Langley Mill. From the Nottingham ring-road, take A610 towards the M1 and 4 miles further on, take the left hand lane towards Heanor on the A608 Derby Road. After 500m take right down Linkmel Road into industrial estate near The Great Northern.
