Overview

The walk takes us north from the Trent onto the banks of its flood defences which we follow to Fiskerton Mill where we cross the River Greet.. After some field walking, we will reach Rolleston, former home of the children's illustrator, Kate Greenaway, cross the Nottingham to Lincoln railway line and the Greet flood plain to reach Upton, home of the British Horological Institute. After a late drinks stop at the church, we follow the Greet to pass by Southwell Racecourse and Southwell Golf Club to reach Rolleston Mill and then Rolleston Church. Returning to Fiskerton, we will join the Trent at The Bromley before walking downstream back to the start.
