Overview

A walk of wonderful views almost all the way !!

We start with a half hour, fairly steep climb over uneven grassland to reach the summit.

Descending along an equally uneven track for coffee break. We continue downhill, (there is one section that is very slippery). It's quite flat for a while along the Clydach Vale Country Park path; that is, until we start on the second climb of the day ! Again, an uneven path, that was part stream on our last recce. Lunch stop will bring a change of scenery as we enter wind turbine country. Their eerie groan is a bit unsettling !

The continuing views make it worthwhile. There is a third climb as we leave the turbines, although not as steep as the two previously mentioned. It's ALMOST all downhill on way back from there !

Thanks to Su, who noticed a path along the river, we end the walk in countryside with the river at our side, bringing a WOW to the end, rather than my planned route along the road.
