Overview

Join Lucy for a midsummer walk in Pontardawe where she’ll explore part of Cwm Du Glen which was recently featured on BBC TV by Iolo Williams on his BBC Valleys programme.

N.B. There will be a lot of ups and downs in some parts along with raised tree stumps which will require careful concentration on this walk.

We will make our way through Cwm Du Glen before returning to Pontardawe through residential housing and along the canal.

Afterwards, we will go for refreshments to The Pontardawe Inn.

From central Swansea, head north on A4067 to Pontardawe.

At roundabout by Tesco, take 2nd exit.

At next roundabout, take 2nd exit onto A474.

At mini roundabout, take 1st exit.

Drive past Lidl.

Follow signs to Leisure Centre.

Park to rear of car park.
