We are the East Radnor Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A short walk for a short day as we explore both sides of the Fishpools Valley by wooded paths, some of which are newly restored carriage rides, tracks and open common land. Several points of interest are passed.
A gradual rise up from the waterspill as we pass the 5 pools on our right. From the top of the ridge there are views to the north. Then along Dionscourt Hill before meeting the Mortimer Trail, Ashley Moor and Bircher Common. Whilst descending the valley, the pools will again be on our right. The walk can be shortened if the weather is unkind.
