Exploring some of Yate's landmarks such as Yate Common, Poole Court, the River Frome, Stanshawes Court, Kingsgate Park, and St Mary's church. The Common is beautiful this time of year, and we hope to see cygnets at Kingsgate Park.
After the walk we can have refreshments at The Lawns, Church Road, Yate, BS37 5BG
Meet: Yate Shopping Centre, outside the Leisure centre entrance in the pedestrian area, near Bolero Lounge. BS37 4DQ. Parking: Council car park in Kennedy Way is free after 6 pm. There are 2 sections, Long stay and short stay, but I don't think it matters outside paid hours. Car park by Macdonalds and Bolero Lounge, off Station Road is free but limited to 4 hours so don't arrive too early!
