Overview

We go NW across Eyam Moor to Stoke Ford and then via Abney Clough to Abney. From there we walk around Shatton Edge past the radio transmitter to Offerton hall and then along to Highlow hall.  Roadside walking on the country lanes down towards Leadmill is followed by an uphill stretch that leads to a path SW across Eyam Moor back to the cars.

There is slightly more road walking than originally intended because the recce for the walk (3rd April), found that the riverside path alongside the R Derwent from below Offerton Hall to Leadmill Bridge was horrendously muddy.
