This walk starts at Bishop Wilton Hall Car park down Worsendale Road.
Walking from the car park, we head to Back Lane Track.
As we approach Beckside Road track,we head towards East Field Farm.From here we walk to Meltonby and the village of Great Givendale.
We then head to Garth End Field and make a steep descent back to Bishop Wilton.
This walk is flat to begin with, but steep hills and descents are soon encountered.
There are some good views of the Vale of York and the Yorkshire Wolds.
Walking poles for this walk could be beneficial, and if the weather is hot and sunny at least two bottles of water is recommended.
At the time of the recce cattle were grazing in a field but were placid.
The car park has an honesty box near the entrance and we have been advised £2 per car would be appreciated.
As always dogs are welcome, but on short leads please.
