Overview

This flat walk begins in Elloughton Main Street, opposite The Half Moon Pub.

Heading towards Brough Golf Club,we make our way to the banks of the River Humber, it is here we will have a short stop.At this point we join the Transpennine Trail,and head towards Welton Waters and have our main break. Walking towards the outskirts of Brough,we make our way back to Elloughton.

Due to the Welton crossing being closed down Common Lane is for some building work. We turn west along the new Brough housing development, then onto Brough up to Welton Road and Main Street, Elloughton

The walk offers sightings of a wide variety of birds and geese. On the recce, the Cettis Warbler could be heard, and a Kingfisher was seen.

Present, past, and new walkers are always welcome. 

It is suitable for all walking abilities.

Dogs are welcome, but on short leads, please.
