This is a 6 mile walk that undulates through fields and woods with some stiles and the likelihood of horses and cattle. Extensive views across the estuary on a clear day. Several bluebell woods en route. Likely to be muddy in places.

If you’re catching the X6 bus from Bristol alight at bus stop Sixty Acres Close, Failand and continue in the same direction until you reach the shop. If you’re driving, there’s plenty of parking in Flax Bourton Road a little way past the shop and to the left as you head away from Bristol. Alternatively park in the community centre car park by turning right and right again after the shop.
