Walk from Canada Wood to Roughcastle Wood, Roman Fort and the Falkirk Wheel; return via Union Canal towpath, Falkirk Tunnel, Lionthorn Wood and Auchengean Wood. Good paths, canal towpath & minimal tarmac.Meet at NB 08.00, Hadd 08.15 for a 09.30 start. Park at Greenrig Car Park beside Cafe at Canada Wood (NS859785); parking is £2.50 but free if you buy something from the cafe. Map OS65.
