This is a multi-transport walk, involving two foot ferries and a train. Starting at Evesham, it passes the Abbey and makes use of the first ferry. At lunch time, it passes through Fladbury, where a second ferry is to be found (TBC), and where the village's annual walkabout open day will be taking place. Following lunch, the walk continues to Pershore, where there is an opportunity to visit the Sugar N' Spice tearooms. A brisk walk to the railway station then provides the route back to Evesham by train. The walk is mostly flat and has no steep hills.
Since this walk is likely to take a bit longer than usual, the start time is 10:00. Please bring some cash for the ferries (first ferry is £1, the second is TBC). Rail fare for the return journey is £5 (card). There is the option of taking a shortcut to the railway station towards the end rather than walking all the way into Pershore. But then you miss out on the tea and cake! Start point has toilets.
