Overview

Meet at Ponders Rd car park (grid ref TL 928 286, post code CO6 3LX) for a figure of eight walk. The morning will be out to Hillhouse Woods West Bergholt  and returning along the Essex Way (5 1/2 miles).

After lunch on the village green we will walk some of the Woodland Trusts footpaths on the Fordham Hall Estate (3 miles).

Please bring a packed lunch if you intend walking in the afternoon. The nearest pub is The Three Horseshoes in Fordham.
