Overview

A varied walk starting from Biddestone and visiting the tiny hamlet of Ford where we walk along the rivers edge for a while.  The route is a mixture of footpaths passing through woodland, farmland and country lanes.

The walk is generally undulating with two ascents.  Please bring a drink and a light picnic.  You will need to wear sturdy footwear as we walk through farmland as well as more established footpaths.

Free car park off High Street, Paulton, (below the Chinese Take Away). Meet to car share to the start. You can also drive yourself to the start if you live away from the Somer Valley area.
