We are the Leicestershire & Rutland Walking Group. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
8 mile circular walk (approx. 4 hours) starting from Foremark Reservoir car park DE65 6EG off Repton Road. heading south via Hartshorne and then north to Ticknall before returning to the start point.
Meet at the Foremark reservoir visitor centre (toilets and cafe available). Parking is now £6 all day (pay by coins or phone) so car share if possible! When we've been there before, parking tickets could also be purchased from the cafe.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. Please wear appropriate clothing (not jeans) and footwear for an all-day walk, including waterproofs and warm layer.
2. Please bring food and water with you.
There will be no opportunity to purchase food and drink during the walk.
