We are the Southwell Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Following a quiet path on the edge of Sherwood Forest we will then turn onto a wide straight grassy area to the A6075. Passing Archway House we will descend to the River Maun which we follow; walking where once there were 19th century flood meadows. Returning through the village of Edwinstowe to the start.
Please contact the Leader to let them know that you are coming on the walk. Please leave your name, contact telephone number and email address. Please also state whether you intend going to the designated meeting place or directly to the start of the walk. This will help ensure that you are not left behind. This should not be regarded as “booking a place”.
If you later find that you cannot come on the walk, please notify the Leader as soon as possible in order that the group is not waiting for you to arrive on the day.
There will be a refreshment stop so you may like to bring a snack and a drink.
