Overview

Starting from an old road lay-by off the A6068 west of Higham we round the village of Higham climbing gently up towards the ridge of the Forest of Pendle. Descending through the village of Wheatley Lane and Old Laund we reach the valley of Pendle Water and the River Calder following this valley before returning to the lay-by.
