Overview

A pleasant winter ramble in an attractive part of the New Forest. The route starts in the Milkham Inclosure, passes over Broomy Plain and through several inclosures of mixed woodland before reaching Fritham and returning via Holly Hatch. This is an ideal winter ramble with wide ranging views of the forest landscape. Although some paths are likely to be muddy, walking will be on good tracks and there are options to adjust the route if the water table is very high. Waterproof footwear recommended. No stiles. Map: OL22.

Everyone is welcome. If you would like to join this walk, please notify the walk leader (Phil H 07831379129) prefarably by text by 21.00 Saturday 14th or email swrsundaywalks@gmail.com.

If you would like to car share, please let the walk leader know when you book and we will hopefully be able to facilitate this.

There will be two stops during the day for coffee and lunch (please bring a picnic)
