We are the South East Hants Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We will walk up The Mount to Fort Nelson – Great views over Portsmouth Harbour and the Solent with IoW beyond. After joining the Allan King Way to Downend we will follow the shoreline around Cams, enjoying more views of Portsmouth Harbour.
One steady incline at the start. No stiles, but one barrier to step over. A few muddy patches if recent rain.
Dogs will need to be on a lead for at least 50% of the walk.
Meet at the far end of the “Overflow Car Park” on the righthand side of the road opposite Portchester Crematorium, Upper Cornaway Lane, Portchester, PO16 8NE. Free parking
