Meet at Currie Library at 9.15am for 9.30am for short transfer to Harlaw Rangers car park. Or, - own transport - be at Harlaw car park for 10.00 departure (EH14 7AS)
Walk Description
Ascent to Maiden's Cleugh, descent to Glencorse Reservoir, turn right along the banks of Glencorse and Loganlea Reservors, following the Logan Burn to 'The Howe' (The old 'fisherman's hut' is now a cafe with more picnic tables outside. Toilet available for patrons - coffee/early lunch).
Right, over the stepping stones, following undulating path to Bavelaw Castle. (Great to see the tree plantations maturing nicely) Down the hill to Threipmuir Reservoir, skirt along the side of Threipmuir and Harlaw to return to the car park. Estimated return 3.00pm
